HAPPENINGS March 2009

HAPPENINGS
March 2009

Things are finally getting started on the kitchen renovation:
Barry Fidelman called a work day and Hy and Shelly Warshawsky,
Minnie Pearce and BethAnn Pearce-Davis helped to empty everything from the upper cabinets. The cabinets were then removed for painting but then reconsidered
in favor of washing them thoroughly and placing a back-wall recovering.

The Board, by majority vote, decided to
have Stainless Steel placed before the cabinets are re-hung.

The end result of these efforts will be a Kosher Kitchen with two
of everything, including stoves, sinks, microvaves, refrigerators and great cabinet space.

A storage room behind the men's room has also undergone repairs,
it will soon be painted and have shelving installed.
The fire escape at the rear of the shul is repaired and up to code.
Gutters and soffits have been repaired.
Fencing in front and side of te building will be finished this spring .
