A Message from the President:

To all our valued members and friends; What a pleasure it has been to serve the First Hebrew Congregation this past year. What this Board has accomplished is mind boggling, considering improvements were sandwiched between four successful events, Shabbats and the High Holidays.

This is a list of improvements this past year:
Repaired the fire escape
Changed locks
New store room (old mikvah)
Repaired and painted the Social Hall
Built storage shelves on stage
Both bathrooms repaired and painted
Repaired walls and installed new electric in Rabbi’s study
Cleaned Rabbi’s study
Burnished all silverware
Tuned piano
Installed new Memorial board
Installed smoke detectors and fire extinguishers
New 200 Amp electrical service
Handbook on funeral customs
New 1 inch water line to bldg.
Kitchen remodeled: new electric line - raised, repaired and painted all cabinets - new ceiling and walls - new flooring - new refrigerator - 2 microwaves-
new lighting – counter tops, sinks, faucets - new stainless-steel splash walls –
new utensil racks, knife racks, drawer separators.
Entire exterior land makeover (Benefactor wishes anonymity) including:
sod - sprinkler system - low voltage lighting - reading garden – fence – walkway - benches - plants and a new water line and meter from city.

All this has been done with your dues and donations.
